A Strattanville man faces a court hearing today (Oct. 9) after he was allegedly found to be possessing heroin following a traffic stop in Oil City last Friday.
Oil City Police say they stopped 36 year-old Jamey Fait at Imperial and East 4th Streets in the city last Friday evening, and subsequently found he was wanted on four warrants. Officers say a physical search of Fait at the police department at City Hall led to the discovery of ten “stamp bags” of heroin.
In addition to drug charges and counts related to the warrants for Fait, police charged Fait with two counts of endangering the welfare of children, because they say two juveniles were riding in the back seat of Fait’s car.
Fait was lodged in the Venango County Jail on $50,000 bail.
