Jakub Voracek recorded a hat trick in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night, with the third score breaking a 5-5 tie with 1:31 remaining, giving the Philadelphia Flyers (8-9-1) a 6-5 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins (11-6).
Wayne Simmonds scored twice for the Flyers, and Nicklas Grossman found the net, as well. Philadelphia goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov earned his eighth win of the season.
Matt Niskanen, Evgeni Malkin, Tyler Kennedy, James Neal and Brandon Sutter scored for Pittsburgh. Tomas Vokoun (3-3) stopped just 26 of 32 shots.
