Law enforcement officials have issued bulletins regarding the escape of a Vision Quest resident who is suspected in a Monday morning burglary at a garage at a residence in Sandycreek Township.

State Police officials from the Franklin station believe 18 year-old Tyree Catledge, from the Erie area, fled the Vision Quest facility in Sandycreek around 2:00 AM Monday.  Shortly after 6:30 AM, a Congress Hill Road couple discovered their garage had been entered and a phone and electronic equipment had been stolen.  Police say Catledge is the suspect in that burglary.

Investigators say Catledge had been placed in Vision Quest just nine days prior to his escape as part of a sentence in an armed robbery case, and they believe he may be headed back to Erie.
