Venus Man Injured By Falling Tree

A Venus man was rushed to a Pittsburgh hospital Sunday after a tree fell on him while he was logging in Pinegrove Township.

The 55 year-old victim was being treated Monday for leg and knee injuries.

The incident occurred around 8:30 AM Sunday morning at a location off Route 157.

Emergency officials did not immediately release the identity of the injured party.
