A Franklin man, wanted locally since July in assault cases in both Franklin and Oil City, has been apprehended in Detroit and is awaiting extradition back to Venango County.
27 year-old Terence Loggins was wanted in the physical assault of a woman in the parking lot of a Franklin bar, in connection with an Oil City incident in which his wife is accused of assaulting another woman in the parking lot of a convenience store, and on a warrant for alleged parole violations in connection with earlier drug delivery charges.
Loggins’ wife, 28 year-old Virginia Umstead turned herself in to Oil City Police on Sunday morning.
The two assault incidents were reported on back-to-back nights last July. Loggins and Umstead had twice since been the subjects of Venango County Crimestoppers bulletins.
