A Utica man was seriously injured early Friday morning when his truck twice left a Sugarcreek Borough highway.
State Police accident investigators described injuries sustained by 37 year-old Jeffery Fry as “major.”
Troopers say Fry was traveling west on Route 322 near Pine Road shortly before 2:00 AM Friday when his pickup left the right side of the road on a left curve. The truck went into a ditch, hit an embankment, traveled back onto the highway and slammed into the guardrails along the left berm.
Fry was initially transported to UPMC Northwest in Cranberry. Specific details on his injuries were not available. He had apparently been traveling alone.
