Union Workers At Channellock Reach Contract Agreement

Many union workers at Meadville-based Channellock Inc. have reached agreement with the company on a new two-year contract.

Members of the United Steelworkers Union local had been working under the extension of a contract that had expired on February 10.

Channellock has about 360 employees at plants in Meadville and Vernon Township.  The new pact would cover about 260 of those workers.
