An Oil City woman and her son were both listed as safe following a Friday morning fire at their home on Orange Street in Oil City.

Reports indicate that Stacey Gadley discovered smoke coming from her attic as she prepared to leave for work Friday.  Firefighters from Oil City and Seneca responded and were able to limit most of the damage to the attic, roof and a bedroom ceiling.  They remained on the scene for a little over two hours.

No injuries were reported.

The fire is believed to have originated in an electric panel in the attic.
