Two women have been injured in a pair of separate one-vehicle crashes in Sugarcreek Borough.

Police say 44 year-old Heidi Hummel, from Franklin, had to be extricated from her truck Tuesday night after the vehicle left Sugarcreek Drive, hit the guide wire for a utility pole, traveled over a bank and rolled onto its side.

The extent of Hummel’s injuries was not released.

And, 42 year-old Crystal Fuller, from Oil City, was treated for minor injuries after her vehicle struck the front porch of a house in Rocky Grove.  Police say Fuller’s vehicle went out of control on ice on the 300-block of Front Street late Wednesday afternoon.  The vehicle sideswiped a utility pole, and hit a parked car before striking the house.
