Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle collision that occurred on Route 8 in Rouseville on Tuesday afternoon.
State Police accident investigators say a van loaded up with scrap metal and driven by 62 year-old Joan Biltz, from Titusville, traveled through a red light and slammed into the side of a tractor-trailer. The van became stuck underneath the larger vehicle.
Troopers say Biltz and one of her two passengers, 36 year-old Ashley Colflesh, from Titusville, were transported from the scene for hospital treatment. The other passenger was not injured.
Police say there were five people traveling in the cab of the tractor-trailer, driven by 57 year-old Anthony Odorisio, from Erie. None of the rig’s occupants was injured.
