Two women riding Conneaut Lake Park’s famed Blue Streak roller coaster Saturday night were injured on the ride.
Specific information was not immediately available on the incident, which occurred exactly one week after twenty people were stranded on the ride, some for nearly five hours, due to a mechanical malfunction.
One of the injured parties in the most recent incident was transported to an Erie hospital, reportedly for the treatment of a broken nose and a fractured jaw. The other woman accepted a ride with friends for observation at a Meadville medical facility.
Park officials had no comment. Media sources in Crawford County say they were still awaiting an official report from investigators.
