Two women were hurt in a two-car collision that occurred Monday afternoon on Route 8 in Sugarcreek Borough between Franklin and Oil City.
Police say a northbound vehicle bounced off a guardrail, crossed the center line of the highway and struck an oncoming car head-on.
Traffic was delayed for more than an hour while the scene was cleared.
One driver was flown to an Erie hospital. The other driver was treated at UPMC Northwest in Cranberry. Police did not immediately release the names of either of the injured parties.
