Two families were evacuated from their homes during a fire that twice broke out in a Titusville apartment complex on Saturday night.

No injuries were reported.  The cause of the blaze is still being investigated, but initial indications are that it began in a first-story bathroom.  Separate apartments are located on both floors of the building on East Central Avenue.

Four fire companies responded to the scene for about four hours after the blaze broke out shortly after 8:30 PM Saturday.  Some firefighters returned after the fire rekindled sometime before 4:00 AM Sunday.

Reports indicated that three adults and three children occupied the two apartments in the building.  They are being assisted by the Red Cross.
