Two Arrested In Cochranton Convenience Store Robbery

Two men have been charged in the Sunday night robbery of a convenience store in Cochranton.

Cochranton Borough Police say 19 year-old Ronald Furlong, from French Creek Township in Mercer County, and 18 year-old Jason Poduszio, from Fairfield Township in Crawford County, have been charged with robbery, theft, conspiracy and receiving stolen property.

Furlong and Poduszio are accused of demanding money from a store clerk at an establishment on South Franklin Street in Cochranton at about 10:00 PM Sunday night.  Initial reports indicated the robbers fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Both suspects have posted bond and face an upcoming preliminary hearing.
