A Titusville man told police early Monday morning that he was stabbed by a man who offered him a ride near Union City at about 4:30 AM.
57 year-old Charles Schlicht told State Police troopers the incident happened along Route 8 in Union Township. He says he was walking along the highway when a man in a dark-colored truck stopped and offered him a ride. But, Schlicht says before he could climb into the truck, the driver got out and stabbed him in the leg.
The assailant then re-entered his truck and drove away.
State Police at the Corry station say Schlicht’s injury appeared to be relatively minor. Their investigation into the incident continues.
