Titusville Man Hospitalized In Erie After 2-Vehicle Crash

Accident investigators say a Titusville man was taken to an Erie hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Cherrytree Township on Monday afternoon.

State Police troopers say the collision occurred when a pickup headed south on Route 8 crossed the center line of the slushy highway and struck a northbound S-U-V operated by Michael Weaver, from Titusville.  Weaver was the injured party.  Police did not give Weaver’s age.

A passenger in Weaver’s vehicle, and the driver of the truck, identified as 54 year-old Stephen Moff, from Columbiana, Ohio, were not injured.

Weaver’s injuries were described as “moderate.”
