Titusville Man Charged In Theft Of Safe From Titusville Brew Pub

A Titusville man was charged Thursday in a January incident which resulted in the removal of a safe from a brew pub in that city.

Charges against 19 year-old Matthew Miller include burglary, theft, trespassing and conspiracy.  Investigators indicate that there are other suspects in the case.

On January 3, police officials in Titusville indicate that someone had entered a brew pub on South Franklin Street by breaking through a wall from an adjacent building.  A safe holding money was taken elsewhere and was forced open.

Titusville City Police say much of their evidence leading to Miller came through the study of surveillance video and help from the public.

Miller was expected to be arraigned on Thursday.  Police did not indicate how many other people they think may have been involved.
