A Titusville-area man was charged over the weekend with assaulting a woman at a residence in Oilcreek Township.
One charge involves endangering the welfare of a child, because police say their suspect was holding a two year-old child during a portion of the alleged attack.
Other charges against 29 year-old Jeremy Wright include simple assault, making terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct.
State Police at the Corry station say Wright choked a 22 year-old woman, threw her to the ground, and then threatened her with a hunting knife.
Wright was placed in the Crawford County Jail with his bond set at $10,000.
