A Tidioute man has entered guilty pleas in connection with the shooting death of a woman from the Tidioute area.
52 year-old Randy Poole has pled guilty to charges of criminal homicide, burglary and the illegal possession of a firearm.
Poole is accused in the death of 56 year-old Kathleen Sweeney. Police say Sweeney was shot five days before Christmas in a garage at her residence in Deerfield Township.
Officers who arrested Poole say he tried to evade them when they spotted his truck hours after the shooting, but the vehicle crashed. Poole was arrested after he allegedly tried to run away into a wooded area about two miles west of Tidioute.
