Police say three people were injured late Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Route 322 in northern Clarion County.
Accident investigators say the incident occurred as a vehicle driven by 88 year-old John Ashbaugh from Knox was making a left turn off a hill on Route 322 onto Saint Mark Road. His car was struck by a vehicle that was cresting the other side of the hill. Police identified the other driver as 21 year-old Jessica Gruver, from Fairmount City.
Ashbaugh and a passenger identified as 82 year-old Gladys Cooper, from Knox, suffered moderate injuries, according to police, while Gruver sustained minor injuries. All three were taken to Clarion Hospital for treatment.
