Three people were hurt Monday morning in a collision between an S-U-V and a logging truck on Route 208 near Fryburg.  A third vehicle was also involved in the incident.

State Police say the crash happened shortly before 9:00 AM when an S-U-V driven by 21 year-old Sarah Deemer, from Lickingville, crossed the center line of the highway and struck a logging rig operated by 45 year-old Timothy Mills, from Tionesta.  Deemer’s vehicle then hit a second S-U-V driven by 27 year-old Dennis Grove, from Kennerdell.  Mills’ rig left the road, hit an embankment and rolled onto its side.

Deemer and her passenger, 27 year-old Christine McCollum, also from Lickingville, were flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment of reportedly major injuries.  Mills sustained minor injuries, but refused treatment at the scene.  Grove was not hurt.
