An Oil City woman was taken to UPMC Northwest in Cranberry following a two-car collision Saturday morning on Route 8 between Franklin and Oil City in Sugarcreek Borough.
Police say 44 year-old Tami Horne was headed toward Franklin shortly after 10:00 AM when a vehicle driven by a Punxsutawney man turned left in front of her car. Horne’s vehicle was knocked into the entrance of a shopping plaza.
Horne was being treated over the weekend for injuries described as “moderate.” Police say the other driver, 71 year-old Verlon Burkett, and his wife both sustained minor injuries.
