An Oil City man and two juveniles have been charged in an incident in which police say they stole some items and destroyed others left at the grave of an Oil City High School student who died at a school baseball practice last winter.

The incidents occurred last Tuesday afternoon at a grave site at Grove Hill Cemetery in Oil City.  The items that were taken or vandalized had all been left by friends and family members as tributes to the deceased student.

Oil City Police say 18 year-old Larry Sutton and two juvenile boys, ages 17 and 14, have been charged in the incidents.  Sutton faces charges of institutional vandalism, conspiracy and the corruption of minors.  After his arraignment on Friday, he was placed in the Venango County Jail on $10,000 bail.  The two younger suspects face charges through Venango County Juvenile Court.
