Sutter, Morrow Score Twice Apiece In 6-4 Win Over Habs

Brandon Sutter and Brenden Morrow both scored a pair of goals at Consol Energy Center on Wednesday night, and the Pittsburgh Penguins won for the fifth straight time, earning a 6-4 victory over the Montreal Canadiens.

The Pens (33-10) have won 20 of their last 22 games, and are now just one win away from clinch the top seed in the NHL’s Eastern Conference for the upcoming Stanley Cup Playoffs.

In addition to Morrow, other Penguins newcomers Jarome Iginla and Doug Murray also scored.  Marc-Andre Fleury (22-6) earned the win in goal.

Gabriel Dumont, Brian Gionta, Alex Galchenyuk and Andrei Markov scored for Montreal (26-12-5).  Carey Price (19-11-4) took the loss.

The Pens will face the Bruins in Boston on Friday night before hosting the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday.  Both games are scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM.  Radio pregame times both evenings on 96.3 KQW will be 6:30 PM.
