A Stoneboro man has been charged after he allegedly led police on a high-speed chase through the Stoneboro and Sandy Lake areas early last Saturday morning.
20 year-old Jacob Amos is accused of fleeing an attempted police traffic stop and leading police at speeds of up to 80 miles per hour on a chase along Routes 62 and 845 and other Mercer County roads. The incident is alleged to have occurred shortly after 2:00 AM Saturday.
Amos faces charges that include fleeing or eluding police, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, operating a vehicle without lights and thirteen other counts. He was placed in the Mercer County Jail with his bail set at $25,000.
