Henrik Stenson holed out from a greenside bunker for a birdie on Sunday’s 17th hole, and held on for a two-stroke victory over Steve Stricker at the PGA’s Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston in Norton, Massachusetts.
The 37 year-old Swede took over first place after two events in the FedEx Cup standings, moving ahead of Tiger Woods, winning $1.44 million. His final round score of 5-under-par 66 gave him a four-day total of -22. Striker finished with a 67 and a -20.
Graham DeLaet finished another two strokes back. Sergio Garcia, Matt Kuchar, Kevin Stadler and Jordan Spieth tied for fourth place at -17.
