Steelers To Open At Home, Play Four Prime Time Games

The Pittsburgh Steelers will open the 2013 NFL season at home at 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 8 against the Tennessee Titans.  The league announced the schedules for the upcoming season on Thursday night.

Pittsburgh will face the division rival Ravens in a night game in Baltimore on Thanksgiving Day, November 28.

The Steelers will play three other “prime time” games — a Monday night contest at Cincinnati on September 16, and Sunday night home games versus Chicago on September 22 and against the Bengals on December 15.

The league had already announced that the Steelers would meet the Minnesota Vikings at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, September 29 (1:00 PM eastern time).

Other Pittsburgh home games will include contests versus Baltimore on October 20, Buffalo on November 10, Detroit on November 17, Miami on December 8, and their regular season finale against Cleveland on December 29.

Additional road games will be played against the New York Jets on October 13, at Oakland on October 27, at New England on November 3, at Cleveland on November 24, and at Green Bay on December 22.

The Steelers also completed their preseason schedule, revealing that their fourth and final exhibition game of 2013 at Carolina will be played on Thursday, August 29 at 7:30 PM.
