State Police To Step Up DUI Enforcement In April

Troop “E” of the Pennsylvania State Police, headquartered in northwestern Pennsylvania, has announced that D-U-I enforcement by their troopers will be stepped up in Venango County in the month of April.

Troopers from the Franklin station and others from throughout Troop “E” will concentrate efforts on apprehending intoxicated and impaired drivers in Venango County.  Roving D-U-I patrols and sobriety checkpoints will both be utilized.

Troop “E” says their concentrated enforcement is an attempt to reduce alcohol-related crashes, and to promote traffic safety and overall public safety.
