State Lawmaker Tries Again To Legalize Marijuana In Pennsylvania

A state Senator is once again trying to get Pennsylvania to legalize marijuana.

Saying there is no real evidence that it is a “gateway drug,” Senator Daylin Leach from Montgomery County says it is cruel and irrational to continue the prohibition of marijuana.  Leach told Radio PA News that, unlike alcohol, there is no lethal dose of marijuana, and keeping the possession and use of the drug illegal is destroying people’s lives.

Senator Leach said, in the long term, he believes it is inevitable that marijuana will become legal due to economic factors and demographics that are changing public opinions.
