Spurs Earn 92-88 Win Over Heat In Opener Of NBA Finals

Tony Parker scored 21 points, Tim Duncan added 20 points and 14 rebounds, and Manu Ginobili tallied 13 points on Thursday night as the San Antonio Spurs posted a 92-88 victory over the Miami Heat in the opening game of the NBA championship series, played in Miami.

LeBron James led the Heat with his tenth career postseason triple-double, recording 18 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists, but he made only 7 of his 16 shots.  Teammate Dwyane Wade added 17 points.

Game two of the best-of-seven series will be played Sunday night in Miami.
