A Shippenville man has been convicted on five charges in a case in which he was accused of making additions to a prescription medication order.

39 year-old Ryan Wise will be sentenced at a later date.

Wise was charged in September with the possession of a controlled substance through misrepresentation, forgery, two counts of intent to possess a controlled substance that was not prescribed, possession with intent to deliver and filing a fraudulent insurance claim.

He was convicted on all counts, except the forgery charge.

Initial police reports indicated Wise was accused of trying to add 300 oxycodone pills to a doctor’s prescription for another medication.  A Clarion pharmacy refused to fill the order.
