There has been another case of animal cruelty in Crawford County.
This time, police say someone shot and killed a female sheep at a farm in Troy Township. The farm owner said an arrow was found near his barn on the farm property on Mosgrove Road, but authorities were still trying to determine exactly what kind of weapon was used to kill the ewe.
Other incidents involving animals in Crawford County over the past nine months have included the shooting of a dog, an incident involving a dog that had been left alone for at least six months, and the August report of a horse which had been set on fire.
State Police investigators from the Corry station are looking into the incident involving the ewe.
