Several injuries were reported Friday morning in a collision between a train and a passenger bus in southern Butler County.
The crash occurred at an Evans City intersection. The bus is believed to be a vehicle from Butler County’s rural transportation program, and it appears the driver had stopped in the fog on tracks at a railroad crossing.
Two medical helicopters and several ambulances were called to the scene.
At least eleven people were injured, three critically, and reports have indicated all the injured parties are adults between the ages of 26 and 90.
