A Seneca man has been charged in the alleged rape of a 16 year-old girl in Justus Park in Oil City.
Oil City Police report that 18 year-old Randy Sollinger was charged Wednesday with four counts, and was lodged in the Venango County Jail in Franklin with bail set at $125 thousand.
Investigators say the rape occurred late Saturday afternoon. Police are looking for information from anyone who may have seen two males and a female, or any suspicious activity, in or around Justus Park between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM Saturday. Such information should be forwarded to the Oil City Police Department.
Officials say a preliminary hearing for Sollinger is set for Wednesday.
