Jamie Johnson singled with two outs in the bottom of the 12th inning, and scored the game’s winning run all the way from first base on a bad throw on a subsequent ground ball, as the Erie Seawolves tied their Eastern League playoff series with Harrisburg at one game apiece with a 2-1 victory on Thursday night at Jerry Uht Park in Erie.

The winner of the best-of-five series will win the league’s Western Conference finals and play for the league championship.  The remainder of the series’ games will be played in Harrisburg.

A Franklin native, Nathan Karns (10-6; 3.26 ERA), will start for the Senators on Friday against Erie’s Matt Crouse (9-10; 4.47 ERA).
