Accident investigators say there were no students on board when a school bus left the road and traveled through a ditch on Monday afternoon.

The incident happened at about 3:00 PM on Coal City Road in Rockland Township.

State police troopers tell KQW that an eastbound bus driven by 57 year-old Kathryn Bellis, from Cranberry, left the road and traveled about 250 feet through a ditch before it struck a concrete culvert and came to rest.

Bellis was not injured.  Damage to the school bus was described as “moderate.”
