More details have been released concerning the arrest over the holiday weekend of a Rouseville man in what police had termed a domestic dispute.
Investigators now say that the alleged victim was the suspect’s mother and that the man they arrested in the incident on Sunday was 23 year-old Mitchell Rudolph,
State Police say they responded to a call concerning a disturbance at a residence on Pisgah Hill Road in Rouseville shortly after midnight Sunday morning. Troopers say they learned Rudolph had thrown his mother into a chair during an argument, and had pointed a loaded handgun at her. The woman claimed she had told her son the previous evening to stay away from her home. There was no word as to what else may have triggered Rudolph’s outburst.
Police say Rudolph was charged with assault, reckless endangerment and harassment, and was lodged in the Venango County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 5.
