Rookie Ryan Murray scored in overtime on Sunday night to lift the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 5-4 home win over the Pittsburgh Penguins in the National Hockey League preseason opener for both teams.

Pens’ training camp hopeful Chuck Kobasew scored two goals for Pittsburgh, while James Neal and Dustin Jeffrey added others.

Marc-Andre Fleury, who is expected to return to his spot as the Penguins’ number-one goaltender this year, stopped 10 of the 12 shots he faced.

On Monday, the Pens will meet the Detroit Red Wings in a 7:00 PM game at Pittsburgh’s Consol Energy Center.
