In the continuation of work which began last year, PennDOT says a resurfacing project has been scheduled for the week of May 5 at the intersection of Routes 62 and 257 at the boundary of Oil City’s East End and Cranberry Township.

PennDOT spokesman Jim Carroll refers to the job as a follow-up to the intersection realignment that was undertaken last year.  If the weatherman cooperates, the work should be completed within one week.

Officials say there will be no detour, but motorists should expect to see flag personnel and anticipate lane restrictions.
