The CEO of the Regional Center for Workforce Excellence announced Friday that she is resigning to take another job, and cited health concerns as the reason.
Michele Zieziula has run the agency which oversees the operations of the Northwest Pennsylvania Workforce Investment Board. The center is currently the target of audits by federal and state agencies. Zieziula says her resignation is not related to the audits, and told the Erie media Friday she does not expect them to turn up any problems with the center.
The scope of the Northwest Pennsylvania Workforce Investment Board covers Venango, Clarion, Crawford, Forest, Warren and Erie Counties.
