The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh on Friday (4/5) has issued a Red Flag Warning, and has strongly stressed that citizens do NO OUTDOOR BURNING.

A combination of low humidity and gusty winds such as we are experiencing could produce the rapid spread of any fires that develop.

A Red Flag Warning means that dangerous fire conditions are in effect.  The Weather Service says any fires that develop “may quickly get out of control and become difficult to contain.”

The warning will be in effect until at least 9:00 PM Friday night.
