They went 15-0 in March, becoming the first NHL team to ever win all of their games in a single calendar month, but can they win in April?

The Pittsburgh Penguins dropped a 6-1 decision to the Rangers at Madison Square Garden in New York on Wednesday night, dropping to 0-2 since their near-record 15-game losing streak came to an end.  Led by Ryane Clowe and Derick Brassard, just acquired in trade deadline-beating deals along with John Moore, the Rangers (18-15-3) fired off 39 shots against Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury (18-6).  Pascal Dupuis managed the only score for Pittsburgh (28-10), his 18th goal of the season.

Clowe recorded two goals and an assist, while Brassard tallied a goal and three assists.  Moore, Brian Boyle and Ryan McDonagh also scored for New York.

The Penguins and Rangers will meet again at 7:00 PM on Friday – this time in Pittsburgh.  Radio pregame airtime on 96.3 KQW will be 6:30 PM.
