A public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 13 on the proposed $8 million courthouse renovation and annex construction project in Clarion County.
Under the plan, the county’s Office of Emergency Services and the 9-1-1 headquarters would be moved into the new annex from the dilapidated former county jail building. Other offices located in three buildings the county is currently renting would also be located in the new structure.
Officials say a question-and-answer session will follow the presentation of the project unveiled recently by the Clarion County commissioners. The 6:00 PM meeting will be held at the Main Street Center in Clarion.
