Powerball Lottery officials have estimated the annuity value of Saturday’s (8/3) Powerball jackpot at $290 million.
No one will be able to claim the estimated $235 million prize that would have been paid out to a jackpot winner in Wednesday’s drawing.
The estimated value of Saturday’s one-time cash prize option is estimated at $168.4 million.
The jackpot pushed past the $200 million mark just last weekend for the first time since the game’s record prize of more than $590 million was won on May 18.
The largest United States lottery jackpot ever claimed was $656 million, split by three sets of ticketholders, and generated by a MegaMillions lottery drawing in March, 2012.
