One ticket was sold in California for Wednesday night’s Powerball Lottery drawing which contained all numbers drawn, including the Powerball number, and will be the sole jackpot winner.

Prior to the drawing, game officials had estimated the annuity value of the jackpot in the drawing to be about $216 million.

The jackpot for Saturday’s drawing will be reset at $40 million.

Pennsylvania Lottery officials say the top prize pending to a Powerball player who purchased a ticket in this state is $40,000 — for one ticket that contains 4 of the first 5 numbers drawn, plus the Powerball number, and was purchased with the dollar-extra Power Play Option.
