Police say an Oil City man was jailed over the weekend after he allegedly stole a car and then struck a police crusier with it in an attempt to avoid arrest.
Oil City Police say they attempted to stop Ronald Feely, Jr. on Forestwood Drive early Saturday morning. Officers say Feely rammed their cruiser, but ended up driving into a yard. Feely was reportedly arrested as he tried to flee on foot.
Charges include, but are not limited to the theft of a motor vehicle and driving under the influence.
After his arraignment, Feely was placed in the Venango County Jail in Franklin.
