A Pleasantville man has been charged after having been accused of threatening two other people with a knife and an ax.
State Police officials say 55 year-old Michael Roseman is charged with simple assault, making terroristic threats and reckless endangerment.
Police say Roseman is accused of chasing a woman and another man around an Oil Creek Township residence, carrying a large knife and making verbal threats. The couple was apparently able to leave the home. That is when police say Roseman also came outside, exiting from a garage, and threw an ax in the victims’ direction.
The victims fled and called 9-1-1.
Roseman was arraigned in Cornplanter Township, and was then placed in the Venango County Jail on $25,000 bail.
