A Pittsburgh man, who already had been charged with seven counts in an assault with a car jack lever outside a Leeper-area bar, now faces the additional charge of attempted homicide.

31 year-old Sean Smith is accused of attacking and beating a 38 year-old Leeper man outside a bar in Farmington Township on August 17.  The additional charge against Smith was filed Wednesday by State Police at the Marienville station.

Smith had initially been charged with two counts apiece of aggravated assault and simple assault, and counts of reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and harassment.  He had posted bail on the original charges.
