Pitt Wins 85-81 In OT At Notre Dame

Lamar Patterson scored 20 points, and Talib Zanna added 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, including a career-high ten offensive rebounds, and the Pitt Panthers posted an 85-81 overtime victory on Saturday afternoon in an Atlantic Coast Conference game played at Notre Dame.

Cameron Wright contributed 15 points for Pitt (22-7 overall), who improved to 10-6 in the ACC with just two regular season games remaining.

For the Fighting Irish, Pat Connaughton scored 19 points, Eric Atkins added 17, and Steve Vasturia scored 15, with 12 of his points coming in overtime.

Pitt will host North Carolina State on Monday night before closing the season at Clemson on Saturday.  The Clemson game will be heard on ESPN Radio 1120, beginning at 3:30 PM on Saturday afternoon.
