Ten Pitt Panthers players scored, and no one for Georgetown hit double figures on Tuesday night as Pitt ended a two-game losing streak with a 73-45 rout over the 19th-ranked Hoyas at the MCI Centre in the nation’s capitol.
Talib Zanna led Pitt (13-3; 1-2 Big East) with 15 points, Tray Woodall added 11, and the Panthers won their first game since conference play began.
Otto Porter, Jr. was Georgetown’s leading scorer with nine points. The Hoyas fell to 10-3 and 0-2.
Pitt will host Marquette at noon on Saturday.
